about
Horizon (Lees: Kongsted) is composed by Kevin Lees and played by Kevin and Jonas Kongsted, who was also a part of the music arranging process. It is a track from their experimental debut EP, which really was an experiment in terms of the music and production process. Everything is played by the two musicians, featuring acoustic instruments such as Violins, Mandolin, Double Bass, Piano and Accordion, as well as electric sounds and textures. The music is a very unique genre, combining folk and acoustic with ambient layers, creating a a captivating atmosphere. The record is also entirely played, recorded, produced and mixed/mastered by Kevin and Jonas, resulting in a completely self produced musical work. Artwork photo taken by Kevin Lees.
